Gymnastics insurance covers facilities providing gymnastics instruction and related activities. Accident Medical pays participants’ medical bills when necessary, if they are injured during your facilities’ activities. General Liability covers participants, W-2s, and for claims of physical injury or damaged property.
The gymnastics insurance we provide is for amateur gymnastics facilities. Coverage is available for all states except Colorado. Example activities that are covered, in addition to gymnastics instruction, include:
- Mommy & Me/Parent Tot
- Rhythmic gymnastics
- Pre-school gymnastics
- Birthday parties
- Day camps
- Day competitions
- Trampolines, with usage rules posted
- Inflatables, e.g., a tumble track
- Non-competitive cheer for gyms that are not cheer-only
What is Covered
Coverage includes General Liability, Accident Medical, and an optional add-on for Contents and Equipment. W-2 employees and volunteer liability is included. Accident Medical pays for medical bills that aren’t otherwise covered by the injured party’s health insurance. Contents and Equipment covers equipment not attached to the building.
The below application is for gymnastics facilities where management has at least three years’ experience managing or owning a gymnastics facility. If you have been open less than three years, contact us for a different application.
How Payment Works
Premiums start at $775 per year. There are two payment options. You can either pay in full up front, or put 25% down and complete the payment in three equal installments.
Q: Does the gymnastics insurance cover cheerleading activities?
A: Yes, unless you do competitive cheer, or are a cheer-only gym. Cheer gyms, or gymnastics gyms that offer competitive cheer, can request a separate cheer insurance application by contacting us at email@example.com.
Q: Does the gymnastics insurance cover mobile programs?
Q: Does the policy cover Parkour/Free Running?
A: While we allow gymnastics facilities to conduct Parkour/Free Running under our insurance program, insurance coverage for these activities is excluded and cannot be added on.
